Cary Noyd

Cary Noyd was born in Glendale, California where he skate boarded professionally as a kid with all of the early great pioneers of the industry. At the age of 12 he moved to Lake Tahoe where he resided most of his life. Cary started playing drums at the age of 13 and guitar at 16.

He fronted his first band soon after as the lead singer and lead guitar player. His main genre has always been rock ’n roll, however he has always dabbled in most styles of music, including jazz, blues, country, and reggae. Cary has written many songs and recorded different albums of his original music over the years. He plans to record another album soon.

Cary has been frequenting Nashville, Tennessee since 1995, and he decided to move his family there in 2009. His main reason for moving to the South was to get real versed in the country music language and picking style, and to surround himself with all of the great writers and players. Cary is currently playing with David St. Romain on lead guitar and harmony vocals, while David launches his new album and tour.

Cary Noyd uses Dean Markley’s NPS Electric Helix HD REGs and the Helix HD Acoustic CL.
