“I like to use different gauge strings and models of DM strings depending on which guitar I’m using. Every guitar has its own sound and sounds best when you match it with the correct string type. No matter what string model I decide to use, they all do the same superb job.

Vintage Electric Re-Issue:
“Dean Markley strings are great. They keep their sound and can stand up to some really hard playing. I had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Markley at the 2005 NAMM show. I told him how much I always liked the old strings he use to make that came in the yellow pack.
“Low and behold this year at NAMM 2008 they reissued the Vintage Electric strings that I missed so much. Thanks for listening and bring back an oldie but goodie. Can’t wait to put them on my guitars again. Like I told Mr. Dean, ‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.’”
