It's been a busy year for the up-and-comer group Four Year Strong, and things show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. Since the release of their debut full-length Rise or Die Trying, the quintet has sold out 2000-capacity venues, toured the world, and still found the time to maintain a set of impressive beards.
Hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts, Four Year Strong combines a broad range of musical influences to create its trademark blend of hardcore and pop-punk. Throw in an unrelenting determination and a mind-blowing live show, and it's clear that Four Year Strong is an undeniable presence in the genre.
With the support of both Decaydance Records and I Surrender Records, the band was recently hand-picked for the Rockstar Taste of Chaos Tour alongside punk legend Thursday. It is clear that in 2009, Four Year Strong is ready to take the world by storm.
Four Year Strong uses a custom gauge of Dean Markley’s NickelSteel Electrics: Plain strings in 11, 14, 20, and Wound Electric NPS stings in 36, 52, 60.
