A true pioneer of the California country rock era, John Beland has been one of the top session guitarists in both Nashville and Los Angeles for over three decades. Former leader of such ground breaking bands as Linda Ronstadt’s “Swampwater,” Rick Nelson’s Stone Canyon Band, and the legendary Flying Burrito Brothers, Beland is known for his unique style on the Telecaster BBender, which can be heard on recordings by The Bellamy Brothers, Kim Carnes, the Burritos, and many others.
John is also an ASCAP Award winning hit writer who’s songs have been recorded by such artists as The Whites, the Bellamy Brothers, Mark Farner, Garth Brooks, and many more.
John lives in Austin Texas where he continues to produce and play on sessions world wide.
John uses Extra lights for live work (008s), Lights (009’s) for studio work, lights for acoustic guitars.
