Unlike Seattle, Southern California is not known for their hard core grunge music, however one of the finest heavy bands to break lately is Korn, a quintet from Bakersfield, CA. that recently toured opening for none other than Ozzy Osbourne himself.
Guitarists Brian Welch (Head), and James Shaffer (Munky) load their guitars with Dean Markley Vintage Light Top Heavy Bottom gauge strings while bassist Reggie Arvizu depends on the power and punch of Dean Markley Blue Steel and Round Wound Bass strings to convey their intense alternative art form.
