Kylie D Hart

Kylie D. Hart’s songwriting stems from traditional country roots but is chock full of eclectic infusions, creating a unique sound that appeals to a wide range of listeners. Kylie’s powerful and gutsy vocal style blends attitude with heartfelt, in-your-face lyrics. A long time musician, Kylie started out playing drums at the very young age of eight years old. As her musicianship improved, she played with a number of bands in high school. A self-taught guitar player since the age of seventeen, Kylie’s skills have evolved with the acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. Her talent flows over to the keys, and she has become quite familiar with the sweet sound of the mandolin, a favorite of hers.

Kylie’s extensive knowledge of music theory and composition, offers her songwriting stylings an “out of the box” sense of brilliant nuance and inspiration.

In 1998, Kylie studied voice under Rose Baum Senerchia (The Metropolitan Opera) at The Opera Institute of California in San Jose, California.

Kylie was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, however, that did not stop her from feeling her family’s southern/Native American roots. In 2000, she picked up and relocated to the Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas area where she now calls home.

Kylie’s life-long battle with Cystic Fibrosis has not held her back from her dreams. The disease took her younger sister at the tender age of sixteen and left Kylie with an even more powerful drive to, not only live—but excel! Kylie has made a Lifetime Pledge to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to donate a percentage of proceeds of all CD sales throughout her career!
