New Yorks Life of Agony came out in the summer of 1989 through the underground music scene with a cult audience. The band then got signed to Road Runner Records where producer and friend Josh Silver (Type O Negative) helped them with their debut album “River Runs Red”, which came out in 1993.
With LOAs different releases they have had the pleasure to share stages with Ozzy, Korn, LimpBizkit and many others. In January 2003 they came together for the first time since 1999 to do two special shows and sold them both out.
Life of Agony is using only Dean Markley strings on their axes.
They use Nickel Steel Electric Custom gauges and Blue Steel Bass MED 5-string.
