Nicholas Barron is a unique singer-songwriter-guitarist from Chicago. An authentic Blues/Soul singer with original songs that transcend genre. Nicholas has a voice that some have said is like the male Macy Gray. He mixes Folk and poetic language with powerful one man band guitar playing and spontaneous energy like no one else.
In January of 2007, James Taylor introduced Nicholas and his band as the launch artists for the New YorK Times Emerging Artists series in NYC, calling Nicholas “undeniable”! In Feb. of 2007, Nicholas signed to Candyrat records (candyrat.com) and put out his first solo CD called “as i am”. Candyrat has an incredible following on you tube with over 20 million vies! Nicholas has been making his living with his music for over 20 years and it’s a new beginning for him. He and his band are recording a CD of new original tunes in April for Candyrat records.
