Chet Atkins said “Pat Donohue is one the the greatest finger pickers in the world today!”
The 1983 National Finger Picking Guitar Champion, Pat is also a singer/songwriter. Many have recorded his songs, addition to himself, including the likes of Chet Atkins, Suzy Bogguss, and Loose Ties. And don’t be surprised while listening to his CDs, when you here performers like Chet Atkins, Howard Levy, and Butch Thompson playing right along side him. A real thrill for countless listeners has been to hear Pat Donohue each week on the Prairie Home Companion.
