Raphael Du Valle, musician and teacher, started his studies early in 1989. In 1995 he started to teach and in 1997 he began working on his own projects, including studio rehearsals and acting as a sideman with: Wilson Sideral, Ryan Saranich, Toninho Ferraguti, Joseph Wooten, Edu Ribeiro, Lashaun, Nate Morton, Enok Virgulino, Magic, Marcus Jones, Alonzo Wright, Anthony King, Celso de Almeida, Henry Soul, Maguinho, Wolf Borges, Jucilene Buosi, Rasgacêro e o Artêro, Ivan Meyer, Flavio Landau, Cláudio Nucci, Soul Brasuca, Elder Costa, Rafael Toledo etc.
Today, he is developing an important work. He is teaching bass, using the internet in an online school, which he created. Hes been teaching over 25.000 students throughout Brazil and foreign countriesa great exchange of knowledge.
He is the bassist and also the musical director from the group Rasgacêro e o Artêro, which mixes music, circus, dance, and theater. He’s been supporting 4 of the most important musicals in his region: Golden Era of the Radio (directed by Cida Moreira and Chico Campos), Maria Maria, 1984 a musical reading (directed by Tuca Pinheiro), and Circus of Dreams (Wolf Borges). He participates in the new album of the multi-instrumentist, norte-americano Ryan Saranich, playing with the pianist Marcus Roberts and the drummer, Nate Morton (Chacka Khan, All 4 One, CBS´s Rockstar TV Series, Vanessa Carlton, Poe), and the new album of the drummer Anthony King.
In his career, Raphael owns 3 solo albums: Good Morning, 2005; Productions, 2007; and More Each Day, 2008. All the songs can be freely downloaded in his the website at his web site (see below).
