Red West

Being called everything from a surf band to a punk band’s sister, The Red West have continued to prove that they’re nothing but themselves. Citing musical loves from The Police to The Bacon Brothers, The Red West have found a niche impossible to categorize. Their touring record further enhances their versatility, having shared the stage with the likes of The Dave Matthews Band, Something Corporate, Dashboard Confessional, Under the Influence of Giants, Counting Crows, The Vans Warped Tour, and many more.

The Red West released their self-titled first album through Atlantic and F.O.E. Records in September of 2004, and have been touring and writing since. Their unique blend of rock has given them the opportunity to play in front of thousands and place songs on TV shows, in movies and benefit CDs such as the “Santa Cause Christmas” album.

Hailing from Los Angeles, The Red West found their beginnings to be the easiest part of the journey, piecing together a band, a record, and a recording contract all within a year’s time. Grabbing management from Rick Devoe of Blink-182 fame and booking from CAA, The Red West has dreamed big from the beginning. The four band mates are now preparing for their second album, which has already leaked a demo track that gained playing time on famed KCRW in Los Angeles. This is not the band’s first radio showcase as they were #1 requested for 2 weeks in Los Angeles and San Diego on independent stations, all from a single off their first album—before it’s release.
