Russell Steedle was born in the city Las Vegas, Nevada. Getting
his first guitar at the age of twelve for a Christmas present
was the beginning of a journey that would ultimately end up becoming
his career. Through the years Russell has studied several genres
of music and he continues to do so as he says “Guitar is
something I feel can never truly be mastered; I am always learning
new techniques and growing as a musician and guitarist everyday.”
When Russell first started his path towards becoming a musician,
it was the likes of Michael Jackson and Metallica that got him
off on the right foot… As the years passed, he developed
a love for classical music and became interested in studying
greats such as Bach and Mozart. Most recently Russell has been
keeping busy studying funk and jazz guitar and has incorporated
it into his playing to form a unique style that is nothing short
of amazing.
He currently plays for the pop/rock band Verbatym who just recently
signed a management deal with rock photography legend, Robert
Knight. Big things are expected to come for this band in the
very near future so make sure you keep up to date and in touch
with what Russ is up to.
