Taste, tone, and a solid foundation make Steve Cook one of music’s most exciting bass players today. His powerful live performance and uncompromising studio efforts have made him a favorite with artists and producers alike.
Steve Cook has performed and recorded with a diverse range of artists from Edwin McCain to Randy Brecker to Course of Nature. Steve is also an alum of Woodstock ‘99, performing with his band King Konga.
His current projects include extensive touring with Bucky Covington (Lyric Street), as well as directing and shooting the video for Trent Tomlinson's ‘Just Might Have Her Radio On’.
Steve uses SR2000 Will Lee strings on all of his basses.
