After scoring millions of downloads on a self-made music video,
Tally Hall inked a unique partnership with Atlantic Records.
Not only would Atlantic be releasing Tally Halls critically-acclaimed
debut album, Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum, but it
would also be co-producing Tally Halls Internet Show. To
get an idea of what T.H.I.S. is about, imagine a variety show
in the vein of Monty Pythons Flying Circus, The Muppet
Show, and The Monkees Head. Or as drummer Ross Federman
put it, its a show about everything.
For those without a steady Internet connection, the music of
Tally Hall continues to reach the masses. In 2008, they performed
at SXSW, Lollapalooza, and Noise Pop. They are whole-heartedly
endorsed by FM-taste-maker KCRWone of the many radio stations
playing their musicand will soon make their third appearance
on The Late Show with Craig Ferguson. More appearances, gigs
and hits are surely to follow with the release of the bands
next single, Welcome To Tally Hall.
Robs preferred Dean Markley strings are Jimi
Hendrix NPS LT and VintageBronze
Acoustic LT.
